Day 1 of Poor Girls Open
The fishing and weather were good. We, on the other hand, were not so hot. We had a blue marlin in our baits in the first half hour but he was not very aggressive and we never really had a shot. A small tuna bit but the line broke in the pile of whales we were fishing in. This is the second year for lady anglers Robyn Mc Grew, Nancy Fitzpatrick, Suzanne Ratti, Joanie Hynes, Yvonne Deardorff and Rose C. We hope you all had some fun in spite of slow fishing. Thank you and hope to see you all next year.
Day 2 of Poor Girls Open
Day 2 was a bit better than day 1. The weather was still sloppy but we had a little better fishing. The ladies went 1 for 3 White Marlin. With us today was Rhonda Kaiser, who caught the marlin, Toni Johnson, Angela Ambrose, Lisa Bauer, Kristin Jezierski and Angie Labrado. Thank you all for a fun day and we will look forward to seeing you all again next year – Friday is the day I was told – so I have you down for Friday. Wayne, Ryan and I love our hair and will have it on hand next year when we go to the scales.
Day 3 of Poor Girls Open
Ginger Flemming, Michele Twilley, Wendy Nash, Chrissy Aular, Erica Ennis and Crystal Garnett joined us today. The weather was not quite as bad as yesterday but the hunt for marlin and tuna was bad for us. The ladies did catch several dolphins and we failed to hook up a white marlin. Most of the ladies caught up on their sleep. I think Michele (the one with the pink hair in the picture) was asleep the entire day except for one minute – bathroom break. Another lady was not feeling so good. The crew thank you ladies for fishing with us again and we sure hope to see you all next year.
